The serving sizes were strangely small and not secured by exceptional toughness to make it worth it. I'm sure they stretch a carrot to feed ten people. It felt like being voluntarily imprisoned, it was lucky that they served a decent size of bread to stave the cravings. So much better vegan food in Adelaide.
Always an absolute pleasure to dinate with Allegra, the best vegan tasting in CBD. Wine pairing is always amazing and the food is divine. Waiters know everything about the dishes and are happy to answer questions or make recommendations. Intimate atmosphere, ideal for a date night or special culinary experience with close friends and family. One of my favorite places in Adelaide.
I have a chic culinary experience for a special treat that I am happy enough to occasionally do. The experience in Allegra was amazing. Almost everything was a taste and the meal was the right size to leave me neither hungry nor sick. Melissa and Jose's service were excellent: polite and friendly, but unobtrusive. Of course it was a complete course meal with wine it was f*cking expensive $115 plus $75 for wine), but this is a really nice restaurant if you are lucky enough to go for a special occasion.
This was an unexpected bonus in a week of corporate training. The food is SO GOOD. This is a restaurant to take your non vegan colleagues, friends and family members. Multiple courses. Diverse and delicious. It is simply incredible fabulous flavours, rich and delightful textures and presentation. Great service. This is very, very good.
