Adelaide Open Buffet

The grilled meats and salads at this restaurant are delicious, and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is beautiful and the staff is attentive. I highly recommend this place!

I had to text the book to get in, which was different. The place felt like a school tuck shop. We waited for about 3 minutes until I rang the bell. A lady came out, took our details, and directed us to the refrigerator to get our drinks. It was a nice gesture, but not something that would make me want to return. The food selection was decent, but it seemed like it had been sitting out for a while.

We were looking for a restaurant that could accommodate a large group and serve good food. This place had it all. While the ambiance was minimal, the food was of maximum quality at a very reasonable price. The dishes were delicious, with the lamb being particularly tender and the salads crisp and refreshing. Although the service was lacking in attention (we had to help ourselves to drinks from the refrigerator), the large portions and excellent quality of the food more than made up for it.

I have very mixed feelings about our visit to this restaurant! Nice enough to eat for a ground restaurant, but terrible service! I bought a living social voucher that advertised a 'buffet' menu. when I tried to book the mobile number, someone answered and. simply said hallo there was no hallo, that is adelaide open buffet xyz talking, just a hallo. it was very unpleasant. then I was told that I couldn't make a booking via the phone, but by email (after the instructions on the credit card. I have received a quick response to the mobile number I have provided. the text informed me that the buffet had closed, but I could choose a main meal from the menu as well as the 'soup of the day' salatbar and 'dessert bar '. so the big photos were not available in the real life in the advertisement. at the arrival there were only 2 more customers (which was Tuesday evening, 19:30). the decor is very economical and simple. we were offered and our suppe served. (mushroom the suppe was nice. our main courses (maternity for me and rindersnitzel for my companion arrived. the lamb was very moist and delicate! the Snitzel chips were good and each plate looked up appetit, had a red bevel, yellow capsicum a wedge of the lemon on them. the salads in the salatbar were quite simple and there were only 2 selection on dessert. (Jelly a tiramisu, that was nice enough. As soon as our main meal was served, we did not see more than an hour of staff. no drinks or water were offered! how the old saying goes you can't complain about the service, because there was no! the lady who took our order and served our suppe and main course was nice, but we haven't seen it at all! we only saw a male worker who went through the restaurant to turn off the sign and see something surprised that we sit in the restaurant. he said hi, but did not clear our dirty tellers anymore, he asked about the meal, etc. as I said, eating was delicious enough, but the lack of attention and service was disturbing! I wouldn't think it was going back in a hurry.

Delicious grilled meat and salads and sumptuous serving. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff. Highly recommended!
