I ordered the Chip Burger with Impossible Patty and it was delicious! I went back to try some dessert and the cashier said they don’t have it yet but it’s soon too come. So I got the Thai tea instead which is also tasty . The man proceeds to say it’s on the house, and I thought this was very kind. Had an small exchange of conversation which involved him offering some generous help, which I refused but greatly appreciated. Bottom line, my experience was more than just delight from the food I enjoyed, but also a pleasant taste of hope for humanity. If you are close by Airport road, please give this place your love. They are amazing. The place is clean, accessible/ convenient restrooms, plenty of seats and an outdoor dining. Prices are reasonable and flavor will never disappoint! Thank you, The Vegan Butcher. Keep doing what you do in kindness, God bless!
This restaurant is a great place to visit, with a fun vintage atmosphere in the dining area and some delicious vegan options on the menu. If you're choosing vegan dishes, I recommend trying the tofu options if you prefer lighter fare, but avoiding tofu if you prefer heartier flavors. Both options are worth trying, and overall it's definitely worth the trip!
I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. I ordered the Banh mi and loaded fries, both of which were delicious. Their mushroom sandwich was also quite tasty. Although it is not a completely vegan restaurant, they offer real beef and egg options as well as vegan versions using plant-based substitutes. The staff were amazing, and I believe the bearded gentleman I spoke to was the owner. He made sure our meals were satisfactory and took great care of the vegans in our group. The decor was nostalgic and fun, with board games, toys from the 80s, Hess trucks, WWF action figures, and even an old RCA TV with a working Atari system that guests can play. There is also a payphone on the wall, adding to the cool and unique atmosphere of the restaurant. Overall, a very cool place to dine at.
This restaurant is a great spot that is very kid-friendly with a pleasant staff and owner. The food is top-notch and worth the prices, which range from $8 to $12 on average per item. In comparison to fast food meals, the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant offers fresh and flavorful food that makes eating healthier easy. The gourmet Truffle fries are a must-try and the Street Taco and Breakfast Taco are highly recommended. The peach iced tea is also delicious. The decor is old-school and vintage, making for a cute atmosphere. This restaurant not only offers a huge vegan menu but also caters to non-vegan friends, making it the perfect spot for "mixed" families. Overall, a great dining experience.
Let me just say, everything we had here at The Vegan Butcher was simply phenomenal. From the memorabilia loaded decor, to playing Connect Four, and to the homey friendly service, one could not have asked for a better place to stop for a quick bite on a long road trip. My brother and I struggle to find good vegan options during lent and decided to give The Vegan Butcher a shot. The staff was very welcoming and patient and walked us through the different options on the menu. We had the Barbacoa tacos, truffle fries, Rose-Marie and “CHiPs” burgers, and street corns. Everything was simply cooked and seasoned to perfection and could barely even tell that it was all vegan. We will without a question be stopping here again whenever we’re in the area!
