David Parque - Almeirim

A trip from Lisbon to Almeirim on purpose to eat the traditional portuguese soup of this region: the Stone Soup. The restaurant s spacious, with large tables and airy. It 's prudent to say that once you park your vehicle nearby, you will have a view of some restaurants that offer the traditional soul and more, though I would advise to get inside this restaurant because from the outside this is definitely not the most beautiful restaurant in the area! The entrance door is not so appealing...well, we ordered the Soups and some foods to share. But we got so surprised for the size of each plate!!! Entrecosto de Porco Preto (Black Pig Ribs , Plumas de Porco Preto (Black Pig Escalopes so so tender and juicy! , Chocos (Cuttlefish , all foods came with steamed broccoli, carrots and potatoes and salad (lettuce, tomato and onion seasoned with Olive oil and vinegar . Everything was so tasty and smooth!!!! And because we weren 't capable of eating more...We asked the waiter to wrap up the leftovers and at we had our dinner at the apartment!!!Great choice, very tasty foods. Highly recommend this restaurant when travelling to Santarém, Benfica do Ribatejo, Almeirim, Rio Maior, Benavente, Salvaterra de Magos, Vila Franca de Xira, Cartaxo, Chamusca, Golegã...

There were 18 of us. We were coming from a huge fair and had gone to 5 restaurants already all packed. This was the only one where we could fit within thirty minutes. And the staff tried their best to accommodate us I'll give them that. However, nobody there was ready for having too many customers CLEARLY! Food ran out. Ok s**t happens but the thing is..... they didn't tell us. We waited for 30 minutes and decided to ask where the food was. Only then we were informed of the shortage. They apologised and came up with something (anything) they had in stock. We were starving, so we took it. So....... you can come here but only if you don't have a choice...

Good restaurant to try the local Sopa da Pedra . They have also great grilled meats. Try the tiras de entremeada

Um restaurante sem qualidade, banal, qualidade de carnes fraca, mas com um bom pudim. Não merece nova visita

Espaco muito agradável, com comida super deliciosa e a melhor sopa da pedra. Doses muito generosas, sem dúvida a repetir!
