Bar Laurel - Arlington

We let them know that we need gluten-free options well before our booking. they did not prepare for gluten-free options. yes they have many possibilities that are already gluten-free, but we have only asked if the thunfish and tar can be brought out with gluten-free brot or without brot at all. but she refused. we said it's okay if it's on salad, tomato or gurke. they said they had none of these options! a few minutes later she said good news we found a price of gluten-free bread but it costs them $2.00! after $175.00 or more for two of us it was really pitiful to be charged $2.00 extra. we are not going back. there are so many other wonderful restaurants in ottawa and opposite that really want our business. especially during Covid restrictions.

Our new favourite place eating is incredible, drinks are amazing, personal is fast and friendly. the room is small and cozy very well furnished.

I highly recommend Bar Laurel. I've been a few times over the years and the food is ALWAYS so tasty and consistently good. Service was VERY friendly too! I'll definitely go back! And, recommend to friends!
