I recently joined a group of friends for lunch at the St Kilda and was amazed at the range of options available at very reasonable prices. As well as the $7 options, there were some good options for $10 and $15. I chose the lamb cutlets with mash and gravy while most of my friends chose the fish and chips with salad. The servings were substantial and great value. Although the pub was packed with groups and couples enjoying the Saturday lunch, the friendly service was efficient and fast. We chose to sit in the back room which was very spacious and obviously popular with family groups. It was however a bit dim and would benefit from more efficient lighting.Nevertheless I will certainly be returning on a regular basis as it is really great value pub food.
Wandered down to the pub for a couple of cold ones after a ride up from Muswellbrook. Friendly staff, great food and of course the beer was great tasting. Would recommend this pub for a meal any time.
The St. Kilda Hotel has a great lunch menu with a a chicken schnitzel only being $7! and a massive bowl of wedges being $6! The drinks are usual for a pub however there are lots of places to sit down and have a nice chat. Staff are great.
We were looking for a pub to have dinner & watch Friday night footy and found the St Kilda. We both had steak for dinner total cost $48 so reasonably priced for a pub! I had a Tbone and it was cooked exactly as I asked and was enjoyable, my partner had the ribeye and they over cooked it so a bit disappointing for him. A very relaxed local pub full of locals and the regular Friday night meat raffles etc.
