Romano's Macaroni Grill - Auburn Hills

Very nice ambience. I tried the pasta, it was delicious. I also had a pizza, but it was below average, the bread was burned little. Overall, the place is good. The staff is humble and friendly. I liked the lighting in this place, the lamps, mirrors and open kitchen gives you pleasant experience. The food is not too expensive, it is similar to an average Italian restaurant would cost.

Fine dining, good taste, great coffee, small portions as compared to cost. Also their serving bowls are wide and food like pasta and soup gets cold quickly. I like my food warm. Taste was good. Service was perfect. They have paper and crayons on each table to keep kids busy :

Food was really good, drinks even better, coordinating food delivery for a bigger party and instead placing the food by seat number at each table they resorted to auctioning off food and was a little challenging. Not all the food came out together so everyone was not eating at the same time as they called out each dish. There were plenty of waitresses and waiters taking care of the party but communication between them lacked and management failed in giving them the proper direction. The blame is solely on management where each table could had their own server being solely responsible for said table, but like I said, each server was taking orders from from whomever summoned them. Servers were polite, professional just not in sync with each other Still would give them another try and it has a great wine selection to pair with your dish

I ordered take our from here the week between Christmas and New Years with a gift card I received. It was my first eating food from this restaurant. I got their signature mac cheese bites, and a margherita pizza. The person that took my order was very nice. I picked it up and everyone was extremely pleasant and kind. Some of the best take out service I ever had. The food however I did not care for. The pizza had a very woodsy flavor to it. It remained on my palette for days. I had one bite of the signature mac cheese bites and wanted no more. The food just wasn 't for me. Perhaps if I would of ordered something else but it was a gift card so no loss. The service however, even being take out, was stellar!

The food tasted okay. The pasta tasted like nothing special. 11 bucks for the lunch portion is outrageous. The soup was actually my favorite thing. If i were to come here again I would only get soup.
