The Cosmos-Heart menu is extensive, including a range of great bagels and other sandwiches, as well as salads and a cooked daily special. There is a choice of delicious cakes baked on the premises daily, made with spelt flour, and always with at least one vegan option. There are also always gluten-free options. The drinks menu includes a list of great coffee, as well as a range of teas, smoothies, milkshakes and other cold drinks. All are very reasonably priced. Cosmos-Heart is located in the city centre, but down a quiet alleyway. There are three seating areas to choose from: the main café with waitress service, the lounge area with comfortable sofas – which uses a clever pager system when orders are ready to collect – and a courtyard terrace. All are spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and with a serene atmosphere. The service is superb – friendly, helpful, timely, plus all the staff speak excellent English. An absolute must-visit in Augsburg!
