Always go here when you are in Bad Gastein. escellent food with excellent service. Always cheerful and welcoming, just love the restaurant. Steak's delicious. There were 15 of us on my last visit and they really copied well, everything food came out to cry.

We had gone around the picturesque Böckstein six years ago to see the village and the church, but now we had heard from a large restaurant. We drove there and pushed our car along the snowy road. We had booked what was probably wise as the place was small. Beautiful local charm, fantastic service from the cheerful waitress and very good food! I had garlic soup and emptying, zander and noodles and vegetables and a fantastic dessert. My wife and my boys were just as happy. Very recommended!

The new team have preserved the old fashioned look of this old guest house dining room which is neither kitsch or in any way pretentious. The food is very good, attractively presented with good portion size. The prices are sensible with friendly service. Hard to beat.

Just popped in here while walking my friends (who love in Bockstein) dogs. Kitchen had just closed but I was able to have a delicious apple strudel. Lovely friendly people, I will be back to eat on my next visit to Bockstein. I have eaten here before on previous visits and it was always really good.
