Contribuer aux commentairesFabulous! We stopped for lunch…it’s just off the highway..and we got the last table at lunchtime. It was full with locals…always a great sign. Great lunch,very affordable…and delicious! We met Chef Andrea and he was so passionate and proud of his team. Thank you!
We had dinner here thanks to TripAdvisor’s reviews and we were not disappointed at all! Chef Andrea went great lengths to accommodate my wife’s lactose intolerance with home made bread and even a special dessert, something my wife can very rarely enjoy. The rest of the meal was nothing short of excellent. Fantastic the mozzarella cherries with truffle crust! The price was a steal! Wholeheartedly recommended!
Really happy to have finally visited. The menu seemed slighthly limited at first. That's not a criticism as really it shows a sign that things are prepared fresh and thus the quality is superior. However in addition was a blackboard full of daily specials, all using the most local fresh produce of the season, which at the moment is truffles and porcini mushrooms. The food was excellent from the delicate and light sformata (souffle/flan) topped with a generous sprinkling of both black and white truffle to a fantastic piece of sliced beef fillet which had been first cooked sous vide and then just bounced off a hot griddle. Delicious with caramelised tropea onions and shavings of local pecorino di fossa (sheep's cheese which is left to mature in sunken wells). Staff were friendly and attentive. So actually it ended up having lots of dishes after all. I need to go back!
