Everything was delicious! The waffles were especially fantastic. The food was fresh and healthy, not greasy or fried. The coffee was excellent as well. We also got some macarons to go. They even have outdoor seating available.
We stopped by this restaurant for breakfast while passing through the area and absolutely loved it. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, very cozy and relaxed. The "Build your own" option with vegan waffle batter topped with vegan cocoa mousse, bananas, and crunchy almonds was amazing. We also grabbed some vegan bakery items to take with us. I highly recommend this place.
However, I did have a few minor issues that led me to give them a 4-star rating. Firstly, I couldn't order hot chocolate because their chocolate syrup is not vegan. It should be easy for them to offer vegan hot chocolate using cocoa powder, especially since they already offer oat and almond milk. Secondly, they didn't automatically offer syrup for the waffles. When I asked, they said I could have regular sugar for free or maple syrup for $1.50, which seemed a bit pricey for a small amount. They should explain these options when taking orders and ask if customers want syrup. Lastly, we chose to sit outside due to the limited space inside and the COVID-19 situation. However, the sidewalk where we sat was uneven, causing the table to wobble. They should either even out the sidewalk or provide something under the table to stabilize it. Overall, I would still recommend this restaurant based on their delicious food.
This was my first time here and I loved it absolutely! It is very sweet, the prices are not bad, very friendly staff. The berries waffles were excellent as well as the spiced domestic fries. I also enjoyed the atmosphere, although it was a little loud. If the weather wasn't so hot today, I would have eaten outside. The vegan selection was decent, hopefully they will offer more in the future. Waiting was not too long, we used Yap to get in line before time.
I’ve been going here since I was Omni and I’ve always loved the vibe, it’s definitely something that not everyone is used to so it may take a little getting used to. They’re very busy so it’s helpful to download the yelp app and get in line in order to save yourself a lot of waiting but the options are fantastic! They recently opened up a sister store that is two doors down which offers on-the-go cauliflower wraps, salads, energy bites, and delicious drinks!
