Le 2 Aquile - BARI

Tried to make a reservation for lunch, but they were fully booked. We took a chance, arriving as soon as the restaurant opened at 1300 and we were given a table outside (seemed like these were unreserved). Lovely bruschetta (complementary), seafood risotto for 2, followed by a whole grilled fish, salad, tiramisu and house wine. Totally fabulous, well cooked, fresh, good service and reasonably priced. The grilled fish knocked up the price, as expected, but otherwise good value. No English spoken, but it really didn’t make any difference. Popular with the locals. Recommended.

We traveled around Italy for a little over 5 weeks (Florence, San Gimignano, Cortona, Vernazza, Riomaggiore, Bari, Alberobello, Matera, Civita di Bagnoregio, Assisi and Rome). My meal at Le 2 Aquile was my FAVORITE meal of our entire trip (Spaghetti All Assassina). Just fabulous!

Great family restaurant. Excellent food and service. Inexpensive but not cheap. True local cuisine

Super. Grandi numeri anche molto. Tutti gli ordini sono stati ordinati. È stato mescolato con il frutto dei frutti di mare e la quantità. Una grande quantità. Gratulazioni per kucharz.

Cibo ottimo, vino della casa molto gradevole e rende piacevolmente allegri
