Lovely local pub. Great home cooked food with a varied menu to choose. We have visited here for all sorts of occasions and at different times in the year. The staff are accommodating and fantastic at handling large groups. Thanks for being a lovely, local pub

Love this place and visit on and off through the year usually for a drink but eat here bar meals) Tried the Sunday lunch and were very disappointed. Bland. Am pretty sure that some of the meal was from the freezer. Service ok. Never checked if we were ok and didn't ask at the end if we had enjoyed it. Such a shame this wasn't the experience we expected.

I was disappointed with my Sunday lunch experience. I have visited this restaurant many times before, but this time was not up to par. I ordered the turkey Sunday lunch and found the vegetables to be tasteless. In fact, the whole meal lacked flavor. At £14.50 per meal, it's not cheap. The mashed potatoes were lumpy and the vegetables seemed to be frozen. It's unfortunate because we used to love this place, but sadly we won't be having Sunday lunch here anymore.

I went to this restaurant with a group of friends for a pre-Christmas dinner. The food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly.

I decided to come to this restaurant after having a bad experience at the meadows. The reception at the Premier Inn recommended this place to us and it was amazing. The food was fantastic, hot, fresh, and well presented. The menu was great too.
