We stopped by Bradford only because we were nowhere near home at dinnertime And what a stumble it was.

Fresh and tasty! Food is fresh, tasty, home-made style! Where you can go and eat a very good chicken (second year winner the best Portuguese chicken in the city of Bradford ), now you can have the same flavour in Barrie!

We dropped in to Poleiro last week, while our daughter was figure skating at the Allandale Recreation Centre. Great, and inexpensive, food. Owner even provided us with some free French Fries, which were amazing! We'll definitely be back.

So happy that there is a Portuguese chicken place in Barrie other than Nandos (an overpriced chain, but they do have tasty food). You do get value for your money here, but seasoning lacking. Also a bit heavy handed with the salt, even in the chicken - maybe it was left in the brine a little long when we got it? And the "hot sauce" is just oil with a little sweet pimenta. No zip and WAY too much oil. We are not expecting fat free food, but swimming in oil is not OK. The potatoes had a centimeter of grease they were sitting in. Rice tastes like it cooked in that yellow powdered chicken stock, no peas or carrots, etc. Again, nice to have a Churrasqueira in Barrie, but you have room for improvement!
