The Barn Route 66 - Barstow

Had a great time... I was there late Friday afternoon. Good/friendly people, bearders and drinks.

This place is one of the best places to visit and enjoy yourself. It is a oasis in the desert. The bartenders were awesome and the prices were very good. The food was good and it just has a great feel to it. My buddy has a band and had a gig there. So the Barn also supports local SoCal bands. If you are on a road trip and passing through, then you have to stop in there, if not for a cold beer then for a full belly. Also hang a dollar on the wall, lots of them to look at. I will definitely be stopping in there again, for a pit stop. Thanks again for the great experience!

This was my first visit, boy howdy, am I glad they are open to the public again! This is what I look for in a tavern; comfortable, friendly, with various options for seating (bar, billiards room, patio, and various pastimes available. AND a bartender (Rene who isn't just a mixmaster (mistress, but offers signature drinks! If I had more than two thumbs, they'd join my two thumbs (WAAAAY up!

We turned up and the owner was outside waiting for the man from the water company to turn up explaining that she was shut when she heard our English accents she invited us in and opened up the joint. She cooked us lunch and gave us a drink. We left a signed dollar bill on the wall like everyone else who seems to go there. You have to visit this amazing place as they also have music nights... It's been awhile since I've been there but when I was there I had a Great time with the Bartender, she was a great sport made some killer drinks for us her interaction with the customers was great with no Bad attitude's. We were there all day and spent approx $100.00 witch included $20.00 tip for Her services. Also had one of their Pizzas, which was very good and helped counter our Buzz from the great drinks she kept serving. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more frequently. I would become a local regular if that were the case. Keep up the Great Service!!!!
