Tokyo Cafe - Baton Rouge

We normally take our Granddaughter on a date on Sundays so we decided to try something new and she loved it !!! Food was great, staff was awesome the chef was amazing he had my Granddaughter and everyone else ????????my Granddaughter took to one of theservers Anna she made the experience for her even better plus its her birthday week ???? Anna made sure they sung happy birthdayto her and stayed interacting with her she's now her new BFF lol !!!!! The family seated next to us were also awesome and werecelebrating a birthday as well ???? we will visit again

Been coming here for years..... I come for my bday every year There was a change we knew nothing about with the rice being an extra charge with hibachi Well.... once my group and I found out about it we questioned it and Mr. TOM caught an attitude withus and kept walking away from the grill , calling the waitress, who was Super nice, to clarify our orders. Very embarrassing andtime consuming. The attitude was not called for... I just wish he had handled it better. Would hate to stop coming here becauseof him

For how much you pay for hibachi please go somewhere else. First, it was incredibly hot in the restaurant and our chef was having to take breaks so that he wouldn?t sweat into our food. Second, the lady across from me order a filet and clearly justreceived the same steak as everyone else. When she asked how he knew specifically which one hers was, he said they were allfilet (which in no way is true because no one else ordered or paid for a filet). The third, and most unprofessional reason, isthe chef and waiter got into an altercation in front of all of us where the chef was yelling at the waiter and making us alluncomfortable. We also asked for yum yum sauce to the waiter and when he let the chef know he said ?he would only give it to usif we asked? and then we proceeded to not get any. Just a really bad experience all around. also forgot all our soup was coldwhen we first got it and someone at the table complained and we all got new hot soup half full.

We have been coming here for years and used to be a favorite. After not eating here for a year or so(no reason in particular) we were in the area and came for dinner. Unfortunately, this place has gone so downhill. The restaurant was so obviously dirty andrundown. Service was good, sushi was good, our entrees were pretty terrible. Food was obviously sitting out for a while andreheated before it got to us. Definitely not worth the high prices. We will not be returning.

I am not a picky person in the slightest bit?..but my hibachi plate to go was awful. The chicken tasted reheated, the veggies tasted like they were cooked in old oil, and the noodles were dry and mushy and all stuck together. There was an overall foulsmell coming from the entire box. When I brought my food back to get a refund, the receptionist was pretty rude. Barely spoke aword even when I said thank you. Boo????????
