Some of the best sushi Ive ever had vegan or not! 10/10 you should get food from here.

Barely any quantity of food. Not even chopsticks sent... sad to see the $50 order be almost nothing

This is a pretty nice vegan place. everything was delicious! we had the gyoza, the ewa and the pokai. the ewa was our favorite! I feel like I'd appreciated this place more if I hadn't been vegetarian for so many years and vegan for 4. I would imagine that people who really miss seafood sushi really love this place and have a recognition that I don't. they will certainly get a reservation, though and prepare to wait, it is very popular!

I had heard about Tane opening in Berkeley for a while and thought I might like to try it. Tane's sister restaurant Shizen in SF has gotten rave reviews for years and I've never been able to get there. Tane blew me away! I went with some friends and it seemed like we ordered everything on the menu. We practically rolled out of there! It's not just sushi, it's small plates and you can get noodles. But definitely try the special rolls, they're off the charts! The food is beautifully prepared and incredibly delicious! I will go there again and again.
