The waiter has an ' I don 't care ' attitude ' we ordered the gammon dish, fish and chips, flatbread and lasagne, the gammon was very skimpy, which is OK if your on a diet, flat bread was OK, fish was good and the lasagne came out burnt, it was dry and crispy, we couldn 't even cut it with a steak knife, it should never have even left the kitchen, I seriously think it was an over cooked leftover, after complaining it was changed for fish and chips, on all the dishes, the chips came out lukewarm and are of a poor quality frozen chip, when it came to my bill, I was charged for something that I didn 't have and instead on a refund, the waiter made a lame excuse up about his glasses and the tablet he was using, I told him I wasn 't at all happy, I 'll never go here again and I don 't recommend this establishment.

Stumbled across the pub when staying in Mellor and really impressed. Clean modern interior, nice food, good selection of beer and excellent service. Recommended. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
