Food came right out which made us happy. Full bar and beer selection. Pulled pork was very good and so were the sides. Loved the fried okra. Corn bread didnt seem the freshest for a Fri night. Brisket was the right part of the cut, with lots of fat and tender. Not that many sauce selections though, with just the vinegar style. They had a few small mishaps with the service but very quick to fix. For quick, good quality food and service i would definitely go back. Will probably stick to the pork options next time.
My ribs where taken out of the freezer and put them the microwave. I asked the bartender to stick her finger inside the ribs so she could feel the frozen meat, the bartender knew I was right. My understanding is that this place is under new management. I feel sorry for the bartender she was so embarrassed.
Amazing little hole in the wall with really great pulled pork, ribs, and smoked wings. Love the rustic old location. They have both sauces here, Eastern vinegar and Western tomato and both were very good, the eastern sauce is spicier than most BBQ joints that are actually out East though (which I loved) but beware if you can't handle a little spice.
Our server Ryan was amazing. Our food was delicious and hot. Super cute place for some great BBQ
Ordered the Workers Lunch Special with a sandwich, slaw, fries and drink. The pulled pork had very good flavor. The bun could have been softer. There was A LOT of meat on the sandwich. The crinkle cut fries were lightly seasoned. The slaw was good. It was served on a rectangular aluminum plate. It was a good lunch at a good price $10). There were only two guys doing everything. From seating guests, taking orders, preparing plates, serving food, refilling drinks, running the register they did it all! They did a great job!
