Aside from this place near Day Square, there aren’t many other reasonably priced options around the corner of Saratoga and Proctor. This location is great if you're getting off at Maverick Station since it’s at the other end of the square.

I spend a lot of time around East Boston and this one of my faves places to eat. Their food is tasty without being pretentious. Colombians tell me their treats are well made (pan de queso, buñuelos, empanadas, etc. . I like them but I didn't grow up eating them. Your order comes out quickly and you have to try the salsa rosada (pink sauce ! Tasty on fries!
