The Bean Counter Cafe - BOWSER

Stopped in by chance, I was looking for an ocean view lunch. I got the view and a delicious meal! I had the veggie quesadilla, it was really delicious, not just your typical plain cheese. The service was also great! Friendly and fast. Next time I'm driving the old island highway I will definitely go back.

I hadn't been there in years but remember having great food admiring the beautiful artworks on the walls. I dropped in at noon on a Wednesday, ordered the fish chips had the best I've ever had. Awesome! Great service, prompt, courteous friendly. Love the decor the sunshine pouring into the whole place.

We meet here, some from up island, some from down island. We ended up in this Cafe and we can't say enough good things about it. The food was excellent, the service fast and friendly, the atmosphere relaxing and an added bonus of local art covering all the walls. So great. The outdoor seating wasn't open but it must be a great area to have a meal and relax. Love it and will definitely return

We had an amazing breakfast here! Sat on the patio and had an amazing ocean view. The thick slices of ham with the traditional breakfast were the highlight of the meal for me. Our party can also recommend the feta spinach omelette and the shrimp and avocado benny!

Had a fantastic lunch here. Food just like mom never used to make. Better. Great menu super friendly staff and right on the water looks like a small place but do yourself a favour and stop here for lunch was fantastic.
