Imperial Cafe - Bridgend

I cannot comment on the food because I left before eating, but when I sat down at a table, it was empty with crumbs of food still on it. There was also a menu with a thick, long black hair on it, which put me off from eating.

We all ordered the cooked breakfast and it was delicious - there was no grease on the plate at all. The meal included 2 pieces of bacon, 2 sausages, 2 eggs, black pudding, a choice of beans, tomatoes, or hash browns, and the toast was thick doorstep toast with delicious Welsh butter. We also enjoyed a cup of tea or coffee. The staff were lovely and very accommodating, making us feel very welcome. I can't wait to try their roast beef dinners next time. It was only 9:30 am, but I would have loved one, and the kind man said I could have one if I wanted. The bill for the three of us, plus a can of drink, came to £15.35. I am excited to go back and enjoy the extensive menu, which includes faggots and peas, light bites, roast dinners, and more. Thank you for a lovely meal - we finally found a great cooked breakfast in Maesteg. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

I adore this restaurant and its generous portion sizes. The atmosphere is warm and inviting.

Called in for lunch. Food was very nice. I had faggots, chips, peas and gravy (see picture). Noted that although it was 1pm the most popular meal was the all day breakfasts.

A nice place to eat and enjoy a mug of tea/coffee. and the order out service is a big plus.
