Shacketts Brewing Company - Bristol

As the previous reviewer mentioned, this is a great little spot located downstairs, featuring bar games and a variety of drink options beyond just beer. However, the main attraction here is definitely the beer. I tried the Jon's IPA on tap (from P.Bay) and found it quite enjoyable—good finish with a pleasant, earthy aroma upfront. It has a lovely body for a 6% beer. If you're in the area and looking for a place to grab a drink, this place is definitely worth a visit. They also offer paninis, so if you're looking for a solid non-liquid snack, you're covered. I'd rate this bar a 4.5 if I could, but since I can only give it 5 stars, I will, as it's a cool spot. My only reason for not giving a 4.5 is that I'm a huge IPA enthusiast and I wish they had more than one on tap.

If you like my review, give it a thumbs up! I don't drink beer often, but when I do, I expect it to be exceptional. I asked the bartender for a flight of beers to surprise me, and he did not disappoint! I tried the Bristol Blonde, Newfound Nutbrown, Box of Rain IPA, and P. Bay IPA. They were all tasty, but the P. Bay IPA stood out for its remarkable complexity. Additionally, I had a great time unwinding at Shacketts Brewing Company, especially with all the games available to play. I just wish I lived closer, as this would definitely be my go-to hangout spot. Absolutely loved it!

I stopped by this restaurant after a day of fishing in the area, and it was a great choice. The lemon shandy was absolutely refreshing on a hot day! We enjoyed our meal sitting by the windows, where we could watch the river flow by.

Very nice local watering hole. Good selection of craft beer and sandwiches.

Cute little downstairs brewery. We stopped by on a Wednesday and pretty much had the place to ourselves. Nice view of the river out the window and a dart board and a few other games to play. They have delicious beer and also serve a few other options such as wine for the non beer people which was nice. Very friendly staff and customers. Would definitely stop in again.
