Scoops Ice Cream Burger

You can't go wrong with ice cream! The lady/girl in there was very friendly when I was being picky! Great ice cream on a beautiful island! A must visit :

Simple, no-fuss, takeout-style food. Lots of selection so if you 're craving burgers and onion rings, fish n chips, or a big SCOOP of ice cream in a waffle cone then this is your stop. We sat at the counter and watched as both tourists and locals just poured in. Busy place so be patient. Limited seating. Get a deli sandwich or a wrap to go for the ferry ride or hike or Montague beach picnic. Get there early because they close at 7!Hubs loved his burger! Nothing fancy- just tasty, humble, homestyle food. The staff are great here too. Especially the cook, Ronny, who not only mans the grill like a champ but was a delight to chat with. Always nice to shed the 'big city skin ' and connect with the locals to appreciate small island living and the strong sense of community everyone shares on Galiano.

Amazing staff. Great energy and very personable. Best burgers EVER! Will definitely tell my friends and family to go there when visiting Galiano this summer.
