As we were eating our meal she started spraying down the adjacent tables with cleaning products. We couldn?t really enjoy our meal at that point because of the strong smell of cleaning solution in the air. She also failed to mention that both desserts we ordered had rum (she only mentioned one having rum). All in all she seemed to lack passion andseemed to just be going through the motions. With more training I?m sure she?ll be fine. But putting that aside, you?ll love this place.
Great atmosphere and decor! Came for their family style free 3 course meal and it was delicious. Drinks were made well. Empanada sampler was good. Beef and cheese were my favorites. Chicken felt a tad dry for me. Soup was well seasoned. Rice dish was on point. Chicken was succulent and rice was rich and savory.
Went for dinner to Casa Ora the day after Valentine's thinking it was going to be empty. I couldn't have been any more wrong. The place was popping up, amazing atmosphere, awesome music and vibes, the restaurant is beautiful, service excellent, they didn't rush us, they were nice and polite. The dishes were absolutely stunning, beautiful and vibrant, scallops and arepas we're to die for. Unfortunately though, the chicken was quite dry and I didn't like the combo ofbrisket+rice+beans, it was too heavy to eat and digest. Really enjoyed their cocktails!
Had an excellent vegan meal here and we paired it with some appetizers and drinks. Every single part of the meal was a hit and let me tell you about these crafty delicious cocktails, they were everything. On top of that the staff was so lovely and the place was beautiful ????? can?t recommend this place enough, it was our first time having Venezuelan food ?? Def a fan!
Where do I start. I let them know ahead of time I was back of house at another Michelin start restaurant in Brooklyn and that it was my birthday. I didn?t expect any special treatment or free food, just that they?d care enough to not put unseasoned food on my table. First thing I see sitting down is a cute little paper sign letting me know I have 90 minutes to give the table up. Cool, that?s not a lot but also not a little amount of time. I?m sure we could fit the diningexperience we were looking forward to in that time. The wait staff was quick to come quick to leave, no explanations about the food or drinks given. Huge turn and burn vibe. The food was bland and didn?t live up to the premium price we paidat the end. The rice was watery and tasted as if they forgot to season it. Everything was minimum effort in my personal opinion. The octopus was ok, but like you couldn?t pickle it slightly or brine it for an hour or two? Just so let down.Wish I would have had my birthday dinner literally anywhere else. The decor was cool though. Good photo opportunities? Good drinks as well.
