While I’ve had this place on my list for quite some time, I really didn’t plan on visiting the day that I did… it just turned out that my first choice was too busy so I wound up turning into this parking lot and saw the sign for Pho Japolo.
Solid Pho and Japanese food. Definitely recommend as I am a regular here and tried multiple items off both Vietnamese and Japanese menus. Will be coming back for sure.
Came here twice already, the atmosphere is kind of laidback and the owner/chef maybe is a big sports fan got sports channel on, and a few things hanged on the wall that give hints someone in the restaurant is a big sports fan. As for the food tried a couple items, tried the pizza sushi which is definitely something different and nice as well, there are other items as well. the taste of the pho is also on spot, but it's nothing spectacular. everything was done nicely, i'll say better than some places, but definitely not the best. overall i think it's a good combination of pho and sushi places if you've are not sure what you wanted and you're in the area.
I always stop by when I'm craving pho and when I feel too lazy to cook dinner. Delicious every time, very friendly service, and extremely clean and inviting atmosphere. If you enjoy a big bowl of pho, I definitely recommend this location.
Hi, I got the bun bo hue, and sushi pizza (tuna) for delivery from an app and I really enjoyed it. Personally I really hate fish eggs and it's especially due to the texture. On the sushi pizza they have a bit of it on top. To be honest, I wasn't even sure what to expect for this. I remember watching one of Gordon Ramsay's shows where Gordon spat it out when a random restaurant tried to feed it to him. After taking the first bite out of the pizza sushi I was pleasantly surprised. No, I did not spit it out. I actually finished all of it, and I didn't mind the fish egg on it. It's actually really good with the crispy base and tenderness of the fish it all melts together well. The bun bo hue is comparable to any other vietnamese restaurant and I'm not disappointed. The garnishes that goes with the soup were all fresh. This place is pretty cool.
