Agriturismo Scacciapensieri - BUTTRIO

This was a little plus and minus stay. the villa gardens are beautiful, the lounge area cozy and has large windows and opposite to enjoy and relax. some server were nice and attentive. we had a room in the attached. it was smaller than it looks in pictures. the wifi does not work in the 2nd floor where the bed is, which was annoying. the bed itself was beautiful and comfortable. the vibe was a little old in the villa. worked with the charm of the grounds and the building, but the dining room needs an update. and maybe they open the curtains so that the surrounding views are enjoyed and the bright lighting lower. the signature menu was a complete no for me. I liked to eat or not the smells; there was no wow factor. the personal was also quite disorganized and it was a bit chaotic. our pairing was forgotten with each cure, we had to remember it for the last. the breakfast was not bad, but they forget the order for the eggs in and it came back quite late. there is a little communication there, and the staff that constantly runs around the dinner makes a wonder when there is an organized system or not? that is more of a better place for them. I'd say it was an ok stay, but not something magical and blown away.

We had a wine tasting dinner that was wonderful. the personal is so attentive that all feed and wee are explained with great joy. we had a fantastic evening to buy some wine the next day. large terrace with beautiful views. very recommended...(reservation recommended).

My choice of the place to go to lunch or dinner always comes from wanting to check in person and regardless of reviews. I knew that the care rack has an enviable panoramic position that however can not be the only valid parameter of selection. in this case, the kitchen is also of quality. I discovered that the dishes are well maintained and the chef manages to create exquisite courses, both for the flavors and for the presentation, using with competence and creativity the ingredients of traditional cuisine. with these premises, I think you could even dare more by offering even more refined dishes and different from the typical ones.

We stayed here two nights and had dinner the first evening, I must say that the place is very nice, the simple but clean rooms and the very courteous staff. the dinner was great, the menu rightly and understandably not very rich since we are in an agriturismo and the dishes were all excellent. the location is excellent to visit the surroundings, the area is rich in green and the possibilities to make excursions are not lacking. an applause to the owner, always courteous and kind, definitely deserves to return!

Eat is good, great. great garden. good that children play around at lunchtime. it's a bit on the hill. if you want to have a walk after lunch, can do it. fresh air.
