Another couple walked in and she went right to them. We left and won't be back. We went a few miles down the road to Hayfield Family Restaurant and got immediate friendly service.
We came here for breakfast while camping nearby. Walking in, we were greeted nicely and the staff turned out to be very nice. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the breakfast. Compared to Jogail's Country Cookin', which is a few miles down the road in VA, this just did not measure up. Eggs were fine and made right, but sausage, biscuits, gravy, toast, yelly, was all of the cheapest, likely frozen, variety. The price was certainly good, but I'd rather pay a few extra bucks and get something tasty. Note: They do not take credit cards.
This is my wife's and I best restaurant,we love the food and the service. Great prices, Greg is the man.
Best cole slaw I 've ever had. Really. The rest of my dinner was fine, but the slaw really was the star. And the sweet tea was spot on! Also, this place has interesting 'character ' to it. Will definately go back.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! The atmosphere is delightful, and the staff is exceptionally friendly!
