Contribuer aux commentairesWe wandered around the port searching for Spaghetti alle Vongole for my boyfriend and this looked like the best place. It has a very nice modern look and looked packed. We were happy they found a table for two for us by the window with a view of the piazza. We had the Spaghetti alle Vongole (clams) and Tagliolini all'Astice (lobster). Both were excellent with generous portions. We also ordered fried mixed fish platter and scallops. We ordered way too much but we loved it.
We ate here as we were hungry for seafood and there was a queue of people waiting to be seated (in contrast with some other seafood restaurants close by). We took this as a good sign. It was a hot day and we were seated inside, which is more spacious than the terrace and a little cooler. There are token meat dishes on the menu but mostly it is seafood. We shared a very plentiful starter of mussels and clams followed by secondi of mixed grilled fish and fritto misto, along with sides of tomatoes and fried potatoes. Delicious. With several bottles of water and coffee the bill for two people for a very filling lunch was under €50.
It must be at least 30 years (my memory isn't what it used to be) since the first time we drove from Perugia to Cesenatico on Sundays to eat fish and seafood at the San Marco. My husband and I met underwater and naturally we were always fanatics on eating anything that came from there. At that time everything really was kilometer 0 and we combined our love of the sea with meals that have remained in our memories. It is with great pleasure to see that the good people who run this establishment haven't let success go to their heads and have kept right on doing what they do best! They're a credit to Italy.
Sono già diversi anni che ci vado, quando ancora c erano gli storici gemelli a gestirlo. Mi sono trovato bene come sempre. Le porzioni sono abbondanti, il fritto è squisito... Unica pecca è stata il piatto di passatelli asciutti per mia figlia. Glieli hanno serviti senza olio o burro, scolati e messi nel piatto. Non ci vuole un genio a capire che un po' di condimento è sempre gradito. Il conto è stato più che onesto e i titolari sono sempre gentili e professionali. Voto
