The people staying at the nearby motel ordered the lamb rack cooked medium rare. However, it was overcooked and difficult to cut into. The restaurant staff noticed and offered to remake the dish right away. Unfortunately, the second attempt was even worse, with the meat being very fatty and not trimmed properly. It's unclear how the meat ended up overcooked with so much fat present. The dessert was a mix of overcooked and undercooked elements. While mint jelly was provided, it was poured over the sweet potato mash. I can't speak to other menu items, but I strongly advise against ordering the lamb rack. I suggest trying a different restaurant.
The lamb dish with spiced dukka was fantastic and the rump steak was also excellent. The restaurant had a modern, relaxing atmosphere with beautiful lighting and music, and attentive service.
We are tourist from melbourne who stay overnight in rocks motel, so we were happy to find a well-rated restaurant so close. it helped that it was a warm and balmy night and we sat on the deck so that we were relaxed from the beginning. Service...was friendly efficient, but under resources, as all small businesses are post covid. we were surprised by the great selection on the menu. we cannot comment on the quality, but have noticed that the diners on an adjacent table were very happy with the size of their pizzas. we chose lammschaft pie and lentil kokosnuss dahl. both were perfect for our travel-and-white palate and combined with glasses wein from an intelligent weinlist, let us very satisfied with a great worth and very pleasant meal. highly recommended. .
Rack of lamb excellent; barramundi very good. Large servings and good service. Excellent for regional restaurant and would definitely eat here again
