I took photos of as many of the places that are indoors (1st level). We ate at Enat Ethiopian, Bao and Broth, Velvet Taco, Zukku San, andBoxcar Betty. There are also restaurants on the ground level. There is an elevator. Plenty of parking. The first 90 minutes are free, 1.5 3 hours will be $5, and 3 24 hours will be $18.There are a few merchandise stores. There's even a store for pets.
This place is a must try for all. We came down for college orientation. Harriet’s has some of THE BEST burgers. The empanada and grill cheese places aren’t bad either. 10/10 definitely recommend! ?
I love Optimist Hall. There is something for everyone. Enat's is my favorite restaurant. They have the best Ethiopian food in Charlotte. My daughter loves Velvet Taco; however, I'm not impressed. The menu is basic and the tortillas get soggy and fall apart before you can take a bite.
Great spot to get some good grub. Plenty of options to choose from with different cuisines in a pretty spacious building. The parking lot can get a little packed. Parking is free for the first 90 minutes, after that, they charge. If you're near Uptown, check this place out.
So many options! I don't even know where to begin! This large hall has a wide variety of things to choose from, from great foods to shopping (pet treats, plants, etc). Bao buns, ramen, Ethiopian food, Gelato, and so much more!My only complaint is the parking, it is chaotic. There is definitely a need for more parking at this location as they were busy! We went on a Friday afternoon and it was packed!I would definitely love to go back and try some of the other locations at this food hall.
