Overall, it was a terrible meal and the worst sushi rolls that I have tasted in my entire life. I would not recommend anyone to come here for sushi rolls and the other bad reviews are most definitely true. Food: 1
It was a bit expensive for the quality of sushi. I have paid a lot less for rolls and had better quality. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
My waitress Kylee was absolutely awesome. She was at the table whenever we needed her. She made sure all of our needs were met. She brings a positive atmosphere to the restaurant. I got an angry wife roll and it was AMAZING!!!! I will be coming back because of the service and the great food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Tried this place twice. First time I was sat at a table and ignored for over 15 min then waitress brought water and spilled it over chair next to me then walked away never came back to cleanup. I walked out. Thought I’d give it another shot worse than first time. 1. Food mediocre. Low quality fish and very little fish in rolls. Low quality wasabi, ginger, etc. Skimped on edamame. Overpriced. Better off going to Chicago or Valpo. Even Poke Bros is better. 2. Service both times only one waitress. Not friendly smiles or effort put into service. Not that busy and waitresses can’t keep up. Understand if understaffed but communicate I’ll be right with youor something. Waitress served us water and scurried away while I asked to place appetizers. Then we were left 20 min unattended. Waitress ignored us each time she passed by. Placed appetizers and another 15 min never came back for entree order. Realizing how long appetizers were taking I asked to place main order. Waitress rudely said let me get this check first no smile or kindness. 3. Atmosphere feels like a cheap cafe. You have to walk upstairs in part of another restaurant. There are only two tables for families with minors and then these small club like booths where you have to bend down to reach food and drink. Seats are higher than tables. Then there’s another section for only 21 and over where there’s three tables and two high tops. That side was underutilized both times I visited while other side had more people and fewer seats. Overall: this place is overpriced with low quality food, service, and atmosphere.
