Contribuer aux commentairesFirst night in Cusco and we were out to find a place that served guinea pig or alpaca. We came across Nuna Raymi which had great reviews. First you go up the stairs and there you go through a hallway fillled with plants that they...also use in their dishes. Their food is made with organic and made by local farmers. Our server Tonny was amazing ! He was always there to explain everything and give us more information cause we were just curious people and even gave us great suggestions. Helped us guide through the entire experience and cuisine. Patient with our questions and even when he was busy with others, he made sure to come by and really feel at home here. We got 3 dishes all amazing in their own sense. The Anticuchos de Alpaca alpaca skewers), Aji de Gallina Ahumado Nuna creamy yellow peruvian pepper, local cheese, and chopped smokey flavored chicken), and for the finale cuy de granja cusqueno baked guinea pig, native potatoes wedges and some chili sauces on the side. The alpaca skewers were just great and came with potatoes and salsa. Juicy and tender to the bite. The Aji de Gallina was more of a creamier taste that had plops of purple sauce, which was olive sauce, that also came with rice. Personally, I liked it a lot even though i'm not a big creamy dish person. The guinea pig itself looked very menacingly when it came out. It takes roughly 45 minutes to an hour to prep fresh for you so make sure its the first thing you order. Probably best for a group of 3 people. Mind you that it is a bit saltier but the taste is immaculate. Crunchy on the outside and soft, tender meat. You have to get your hands down and dirty with this one if you want to eat it entirely. Hands down one of the places you should try in Cusco.
Really good food. I would recommend the homemade chicha morada and the grilled salmon. Enjoyed the service from our waiter Tonny. Overall a good experience !
Recomendado totalmente por sus precios y sabor además de un ambiente bonito y cómodo.Recomiendo la limonada con hierba Luisa y probar el postre de keke de quinua y helado italiano.

Me encantó la comida y sobre todo la atención de Rodrigo. Quien fue muy atento, nos explicó todo a cerca del lugar y nos recomendó varios platillos a mi novio y a mi. ¡Excelente!
