It was just the right amount of saltiness and had plenty of vegetables including shrimp, cabbage, wood ear mushroom, onion, carrot, and diced chashu. The cabbage was cut into easy-to-eat sizes and had a nice soft texture. The noodles were smooth and chewy.)
A restaurant located along the old Nagasaki Highway in Omachi Town, Saga Prefecture. You can enjoy the local specialty dish called taromen, which was beloved during the time when Omachi Town flourished with coal mines. The soup, made with beef bones and well-seasoned with ginger, pairs perfectly with thin udon noodles. It has a unique and light flavor compared to champon.
Lunch on November 25, 2020 - plate udon for 650 yen. It's a generous portion and delicious, I couldn't help but finish it all. Thank you for the meal!
