We were met at the door by a lovely polite cheerful lady.key cards were presented for each room. Very tasteful decorated through out, with both local and Scottish themes. We were in room 10, which is up a a few stairs. The rooms will not disapoint. Tea and coffee facilities on hand. Decorated slattered blinds covered yhe oginals sashed windows. Lights are controlled under foot to the bathroom. Very quiet during the whole of our stay, both within the hotel and locally. Breakfast was good with a great selection for gluten free. Staff very helpful
We booked as advised as it was very busy, but our table wasn't ready, We were given a different one which was very nice. It took just under a hour to get food and then one of our family didn't get there food Disappointment to say the least. Made more infuriating on blaming the new start. Don't order the French fries (black and oily) wish we could say that we would be back.
Another excellent time in the Murray Arms. Like many rural places they have done so well to keep going to such high standards during these difficult times. As regular guests here for dinner we appreciate their hard work and continuing efforts. We all look forward to eating here again soon. Good is excellent, portions are generous and the staff are welcoming.
Had an amazing dinner here, perfect end to a lovely weekend trip! Portions were fabulous and staff were very friendly. Definitely a must if you are heading this way.
Bit like fawlty towers, one guy serving but he did amazingly well. Service was slower than expected and I did not get the chips I asked for but due to service didn’t point it out
