The Ivory Lounge - Dunstable

Lovely place to eat, good food and excellent service. Will definitely visit again.

I went there for the Caribbean Sunday noon and other world food buffet experience, in a beautiful 5-star hygiene around the restaurant. what I was greeted was a dark, empty, sticky stockwork, sticky tables, (like it got 5 stars I didn't) restaurant, plus the personal didn't know that I came, though I booked a few days before and received a reminder to the planned evening per day before. it's hard to give him a real rating as they can imagine, I didn't stay very long and went into beautiful restaurant in another city.

Food was okay, but the salmon was dry and the dumplings overly salty. The service was excellent and the hostess very polite and welcoming.

Everything was great, except we had to wait nearly an hour for our food, even though we had placed a preorder. The cocktails were fantastic and reasonably priced. Steve, the owner, was wonderful.

This restaurant is a lovely place to dine, with great food and outstanding service. I will definitely return!
