Amsterdam Barrel House - East York

I'm a vegetarian and my wife. We repeat customers. The atmosphere is good in the terrace and inside looks good, but too cold for our pleasure. The staff has always been pretty good. The lady who served us was great and even brought into a mix for the yellow jackets (waste) to dinate and entertain, away from us... so cool! Okay, the food is good, but I would make the Portobello Burger a little bigger. The salad was also good with many goodies in it. Our friends, non-vegetarians, also enjoyed their meals, snacks and cocktails. You've been here before. The beer is good. I recommend you try the bone shaker. It has a hop taste and it is higher in the alcohol level. There are all kinds of beautiful cocktails for those who follow this class. Yes, I would recommend you try the patio in the warmer months and enjoy something to your taste. I think there is at least one other vegetarian choice in the menu. Cheers and be good.

The restaurant has a great decor and ambience. Very good service and delicious food. Our four people ordered Pretzel and roasted Calamari for appetizer; green salad, beef and chicken, and dessert. Many free parking.

Nice clean restaurant. Lots of beer choices on tap I recommend the Brown Nut Ale. Mina (bartender server) was friendly, knowledgeable and offered quick service. The SMOKEHOUSE BURGER was good but not memorable. Overall two thumbs up ?? ??

Had the 12 hour smoked brisket sandwich, with everything on the side. Outstanding! So much food, I had a to go box. Apple butter BBQ sauce was very tasty, chili mayo and crispy onions were a nice touch. I would recommend the brioche bun to be toasted. Andrea P was very attentive and took special care to make sure my friend was not in any cross contaminations with her allergies. The fireplace in the dining room was a real nice touch to the atmosphere.

This was one of the best customer service experiences I?ve had in a while. We went to Amsterdam for impromptu dinner on Saturday night. Staff was super friendly and efficient. 2 of us loved our food. My hubby thought his was ok and they immediately did everything to try and ensure he loved his food too. Eren, the manager came over and asked about our experience and truly cared. I had the Beet Salad with Chicken Wings and they were both delicious. Fish Tacos were a big hit too. The restaurant is beautiful and has a great vibe. Free parking in the plaza.
