We went for a tour and it was our leaders on the second day on the job. He was fantastic. Super friendly and very knowledgeable. Also very patient because we had two small children with our group. The winery itself was fascinating. We tried three wines.
Baron Balche is a great traditional Maya winery in Valle de Guadalupe. They have older vines, and it shows in their wines. The wine is good, and there is a lot of variety. We took a tour and tasting, and I would recommend that we toured through the underground caves. Our tour guides are very knowledgeable from the barrel the metal containers and the wine itself. We also ate the restaurant on site, Tahal. We loved the Baja med food-soup, ceviche, grilled romaine cesar salad, and shrimp pasta.
The cook at the grill has cooked our meat perfectly and seasoned. The plate was heated so that the food remained hot. We will return.
We like their big red wines. beautiful tasting room with gift shop. not fond of the restaurant food and service was slow
