Holiday Inn Express Suites Farmington Hills Detroit, An Ihg

DO NOT STAYY!!! (See attatched photo) We got switched to 3 different rooms. The first one wasn’t cleaned at all, the second had brown stains, and the third one had a blood stain on the sheets which we didn’t realize until we pulled the covers. Housekeepers we’re walking around in slippers which is so unprofessional but I digress lol. Manager said the sheets were changed but I don't think so… they need better inspectors. Was offered a 15% refund… better than nothing.

We had 2 rooms and neither room was vacuumed prior to our use. The shower caulk showed signs of mildew and cracking.On the positive side: The bathroom vanity seemed to be newly remodeled. Beds were clean. Staff was nice. They provided hot breakfast and tasty coffee.

It looked clean until we woke up the next morning. We discovered blood on the sheets. Then had to wait about over an hour for someone to come change the sheets. The breakfast could have been better.Nearby activities: It is in a great area with great things to do.

Good location. Awesome staff! Very friendly and helpful.The complimentary breakfast was tasty. The cinnamon rolls are amazing!We were there because of a wedding. There were so many people that same weekend for weddings and ballgames that the staff was extremely busy. But customer service was still a top priority.

This place was beautiful!! The check in process took longer than it should have but the lady was real confused with the new system they had. The breakfast was ok but it was just warm and not hot. Warm gravy isnt very good in my opinion. The main problem was parking. The place was busy and the side parking lot isnt very lit up. So parking in back and having to walk around didnt make us very happy.All in all i would definitely return. The rooms were super nice and mine was very clean
