Roustabouts - Fort Saskatchewan

Eating here off and on the last 5 yrs when i work here and the service borders on unsatisfactory most of the time, although the food has always been excellent.Usually the place is busy enough, appears to be a stop for the locals after work and the rest of the crowd are workers staying here like me. Weekends it is lively in the evening.I stay nearby and don't have transportation after work hrs so I walk here to eat once in a while. I used to eat here more frequently but the service just got worse the last couple yrs so my visits are infrequent now and I wouldn't bother but my choices are limited since I have no wheels after work.

Picked up my "room service" meal here, okay pub grub, friendly staff. Not sure why they don't deliver the room service meals

We love the food here. We stayed at the hotel and pretty much ate here everyday. HOWEVER now that we have a baby we can't sit in the restaurant. We get forced to sit in the breakfast area of the hotel alone. The place isn't even that busy or bar like but if you have a kid you have to sit alone in the breakfast area of the hotel. So now we can't go back to our favorite place in the fort cause you feel ostracized to a corner.

Roustabouts is a pleasant pub style atmosphere, good food. I had the Steak sandwich and it was cooked to perfection.

I've been going almost every Thursday for almost two years now and the wings are awesome. They're .50 each but 10 or 15 will be enough for anyone even with a huge appetite.Unfortunately, the service is not the greatest. I've been here many times are couldn't flag down a server from a refill or my bill. The servers' turnover rate is really high too, don't know if it is related.Pints of Bud for $4 and $5 for an order of wings, totally worthwhile.
