I was thrilled to secure a reservation for a Saturday night just a few days ahead of time. The food was exceptional. I started with the oysters on the half shell, which were remarkably fresh. I appreciated that they were accompanied by both cocktail sauce and mignonette sauce. My husband ordered the Lobster Bisque and absolutely loved it. The chef also sent out a tasting of pâté that was light and creamy. The scallops were rich and full of flavor, and my husband enjoyed the beef special immensely. It was a nice touch when the chef stopped by to greet us and check on our meal—it really made us feel at home. For dessert, we went with profiteroles. We played it safe with ice cream and chocolate, but I’m keen to try some of the more exciting options on the menu next time. Our server was professional, knowledgeable, and humorous, which added to the overall enjoyable dining experience. We will definitely be back. The BYOB policy is a fantastic bonus; we brought a lovely bottle of wine without spending a fortune!
