Interesting spin on comfort food. I ate a lot but didn't feel overly stuffed. The fried green tomatoes were delicious. The grits the tomatoes were on top of the waitress said they are famous for, and it showed. Got the pork othered in duck fat. It was tender and had a great taste.
Delicious biscuits! We tried a rainbow of mimosas. We especially loved the large patio. Our server was excellent. I've been to Tupelo Honey before and I'm definitely going back!
I came to Tupelo Honey off the word of my cousin for a good brunch spot for my wife and I. Upon arrival, there were no parks in the front so we had to park in the silver garage area then walk to the restaurant. After waiting 5 minutes, we were able to be seated in the patio area. Our server Cheyenne was so warm and pleasant. I ordered Southern Hospitality mimosa, sweet potato pancakes with 2 Sriracha Honey chicken breasts, 2 sides of collard greens and mac N cheese. My wife order chicken and waffles with a side of eggs. The mimosa and pancakes were awesome. The fried chicken was a bit dry but tasty. The macaroni and cheese could have been served in a ramekin but I digress. The collard greens however were bland with no potlikker in the bowl. I'm from Georgia so if you're gonna have greens on the menu, it has to be seasoned. My overall experience was great and I will be coming back again.
Very good! Love the vibe and the food choices. Great brunch spot!
