Locanda Del Castello - FRONTONE

This is a little gem, great food, fantastic location and very comfortable rooms. The hosts were lovely too. Can recommend.

I stayed here several weeks, eating here 5-6 times. The rooms are very comfortable, and all have sweeping views of the Apennine Mountains. It is spectacularly situated, literally a stone's throw from the castle. Alessandra and Giacomo are wonderful people, who work very hard to make overnight and restaurant guests happy. The place has now become a local favorite, and it is usually booked solid on the weekends and other nights as well. The place is taking off like a rocket since they assumed ownership, and I highly recommend both the hotel and restaurant.

I came to this restaurant a couple of weeks ago with family--it is by far the best place to eat crescia in the area. Getting to the place is quite a hike, but totally worth it. The service is kind, not too swift-so bear with the relaxed waiting times-and the waiters are fun to be around. The food is genuine! Although I am a vegetarian, my family ate the meat and they absolutely loved it. I had the crescia with the cheese and the vegetables. They were very fresh and cooked to perfection. The location is nice: casual and cozy. The location fits perfectly with the food and the type of atmosphere the owners want to create. It is not expensive, at all, and the relationship between price and quality is impeccable. A great plus is the Wi-Fi, since there is no service in the restaurant! Thank you for the experience, will surely come back!

Con la mia famiglia, stavamo attraversando il castello. abbiamo prenotato sul volo due camere nella locanda e Alessandra ci ha fatto trovare un alloggio impeccabile. le camere sono spaziose, calde e ben arredate, dotate di ogni comfort. saponi e accessori per il top bagno. fantastica colazione, servita nella camera inferiore decorata con tema natalizio. deliziosi dolci e cappuccio speciale. Se passerete qui, siate accolti da chi questa professione sa come farlo!
