Gelateria Italiana Venezia - Funchal

Good quality gelato here, we swung by this location 3 times in our one week stay. Lots of unique selections to try, portions are plentiful for a minimal cost.

Lovely little kiosk by the harbour selling a great range Fab prices much cheaper than others which surprised us as it was by the harbour. I has a what was basically a black forrest gateaux small cone and hubby had whiskey cream. Both were superb and just what was needed on a hot day. Drinks, snacks,Crepes, waffles and tubs were also on offer there.

Polite quick service. Lovely food we shared a club sandwich. Then made room for a delicious ice cream too. Highly recommended.

There are some strange aromen, but if they have passion fruit that needs something else. it's fabulous. also the earthy tries, which was very good. a waffelkone is worth € 1.50 very good.

Ice cream shop have great choices, change daily. we try lots flavours, our favourite was cherry with chocolate bits , pistachio, my daughter love unicorn , just staff was poorly not understand very well English , not even Portuguese , chat between each oder ignore costumers.
