Hummingbird Pub - Galiano Island

Fries cold, hamburger mediocre, requested it dry, came out with mayonnaise. Good device, the Guinness was posted Okay.

Dining options on Galliano Island are very limited. We were on Galliano for a celebration of life. We did not have time to grab anything to eat before boarding the ferry so we decided to wait until we got to Galliano. All we could find that was open aside from the Galliano Inn was the Hummingbird Pub. It is a pub that really needs some TLC. There were 2 ladies working when we were there and they were both amazing. They were very hospitable, friendly and helpful. The best thing about the pub. We shared an order of salt and pepper chicken wings. My husband said they were some of the most expensive chicken wings that we’ve had. It was $22.00 for 8 small overcooked, dried out wings. If we weren’t in such a hurry we probably would have sent it back. It’s unfortunate that there are no dining options on Galiano. We definitely would not return to the Hummingbird Pub.

We caught the very fun shuttle bus from Montague harbour, and had a great time. Great drinks, pub food, and played some pool while jamming to some tunes. Nice break from the boating adventures for our crew. Recommend the experience!

Unfortunately there was nowhere to sit that was tolerable, not a fan to be found! Even the workers were complaining of the heat inside. Anyways, food was good but it had to be a rush as we were sweating to death. Will go back in fall!

Only ate at 2 places for dinner over two days, the other Crane and Robbin, was terrible comapred to this GEM! Would go back. Nice atmoshpere, drinks and people. Thanks!
