We enjoy the Sturdies Bay Bakery. They have savory and sweet baked goods, and good coffee. Warm and friendly service. Outdoor seating only. Great place!
Oh my, those cinnamon rolls were absolutely perfect! The dough was not too sweet, the cinnamon filling was delightfully gooey, and the cream cheese frosting was light, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweetness. I have been searching for a good cinnamon roll for a long time, and now I can finally rest easy knowing I found the best one. I have gone back twice more just to make sure it wasn't a fluke, but each time it was just as delicious. The staff behind the counter are friendly and efficient. I am going on a hike now, just so I have an excuse to go back for another one!
The bakery offers a diverse selection of locally made baked goods for breakfast and lunch. The baristas are top-notch. Make sure to arrive early as they are only open from 6am to 1pm. We brought our treats to The Bluffs and enjoyed delicious sandwiches with a view of the Salish Sea. I'm usually not a fan of sandwiches, but this Montreal Smoked meat sandwich was truly one of the best I've ever had!
Wonderful little bakery, lots of fresh treats. Sells out early, especially on weekends. Good coffee selection. Favorites were the breakfast wraps, apple turnover and humungous cinnamon buns!
