This used to be a typical Viennese café. It was designed in 1913 by Josef Hoffmann himself (if you don 't know who it was don 't tell anyone and google it quickly). Until recently, the café was listed as a historical landmark. After 100 years...of operating under the name Café Wunderer it has been restructured to become a McDonald 's...! Its interior is still protected by Austrian law but just few things were kept during the renovation (wooden panels, probably the lights) and you wouldn 't notice their quality in the present settings. The rest looks exactly like every single McDonald 's bistro next to a motorway. The smell is, of course, typically McD: burnt oil from frying french fries.
Eating was too cold and not complete delivery has taken quite long for almost food
