Like Alice, I was hypnotized by the spectacle of shapes, colors and scents given by their windows. I wanted to have breakfast but as I grew up eating pancakes the choice was really impossible. Fortunately I found a very patient and kind saleswoman who suggested me a Genovesina, a soft and fragrant almond sweet made only in this pastry shop. I also drank a cappuccino and what a difference from the ones I've tasted so far! There is little time left for this holiday but I know where I will have breakfast in these last few days!
I loved the pastries I’ve eaten at Tagliafico !!!! Great staff and great cappuccino as well. If you are in Genoa, do not hesitate to pass by and pick some pastries. If you want to enjoy a coffee break, the have some tables outside.
Good value for money, this place has always been the cake maker of choice for all our family gatherings since generations. Food is delicious even if not outstanding as it used to be they are clearly not innovating. But the sad thing is, staff is simply unwelcoming. One would take this to mean, staff is not treated well enough by the ownership. And this should speak volumes. We will never know for sure; however, staff is unwelcoming and this is a fact.
Ho trovato tutto buonissimo e molto gustoso. I prezzi sono onesti.
