Wang Lai Restaurant - Gerolstein

After a two-week hike in the Eifel we were looking for something other than German pub food and pizza. Based on the reviews and proximity we decided to visit this Asian fusion restaurant in Gerolstein. We were indeed not disappointed, we were so impressed that we were both nights in town! The service is good, but above all, the food is excellent probably the best East Asia food I had in Germany. Very recommended.

After we had seen her beautiful buffet, we came back this time with our Indonesian family. We ordered nasi goreng (curry aroma with chicken and yarn, served with krupuk), red curry duck (that is a must try plate), but it is not spicy enough for our tongue, and...sweet sour pork. I had the lunch buffet for € 7.99 per person drinks are not included), so we order jasmine tea € 2.80. The buffet is not much, but the taste is really good. For the price €7.99 you can chicken, fish, duck, beef,...stir fry veggies, spring rolls, fried noodles and fried rice also normal rice), fried banana, salad, Beijing soup, salad, ice cream. You fill the food very quickly. I can say it's a great value. I definitely go to the next visit. A classic Chinese restaurant in German style. Bland food. Limited and tired buffet. Hardly accused employees difficult to understand in any language.

Very tasty, all ingredients fresh, very good portion sizes, loving friendly service and atmosphere... definitely recommend!!!
