The restaurant itself is a bit hidden from the main roads and therefore also quite quiet. But looking for it definitely pays off. We ordered a degustation menu with twelve elements plus a glass of wine each. It was a memorable experience that led as through the menu. I still remember: The Capuccino di seppioline e patate Bacalao Cheese selection Tiramisu, panna cotta and mousse au chocolat All in all we had a great lunch and could well continue our trip.
My friends and I visited this restaurant for a dinner. The service was good, the food also, though a bit too fat for my taste. We asked for Aperol spritz, for starters, yet they did not have Aperol “because we don’t do bar service”. We had a set of appetisers (very delicious! , gnocchi with duck ragù and duck breast. Everything was delicious. The environment is very elegant, nicely decorated for Christmas. We were satisfied with the dinner, yet the owner who was sitting in the reception area did not greet us, has not asked if we liked it and, when asked if the house offers a digestivo, replied in an impropriate tone that no, it doesn’t, but ok, he will offer it to us... So, to be close to perfect, to make the place welcoming and inviting to return, I would advise the owner to be a bit more socialising and do not demonstrate that he doesn’t really care if we were satisfied with the food or if we want to return to his restaurant. Because every restaurant is not only about food, but also about feeling good when you are there.
A very nice and warm restaurant. We ate lunch and everything was great. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. The wine was divine and the garden is great. Everything was great
This would have to be one of the nicest restaurants i have had had the pleasure of dining in. My partner and I went on a saturday evening in late august and were lucky enough to get an outdoor table on a warm and pleasant evening. We were greeted warmly at the entrance and throughout the whole evening the staff were extremely attentive and made it feel like nothing was to much of a problem, though without being intrusive. We both tried the gran vivere menu, which for a set price consists of approximately 12 individual small dishes. I cant say much as they were all amazing and we both left feeling extremely satisfied. The restaurant itself is very homely and has a great atmosphere. Kind of old school elegant italy in the original section, but modern and contemporary in the new section. We will defiantly try to make it back one day.
I don't know if normally the service is like we got, but for sure it was perfect. We also could taste good food and specially the pasta. Everything perfect in all aspects and also the wine's menu is complete. For sure we'll be returning there in near future, because realy it's excellent restaurant !
